The EISENHORN multi-gym offers an impressively high safety margin. In rigorous standard tests, the system is tested with loads exceeding 400 kg—on various wall surfaces such as concrete, brick, aerated concrete, and lightweight walls with appropriate substructures or reinforcement.

Special attention is given to the so-called “blocker”—a locking mechanism that allows the machine to be fully secured, e.g., for pull-ups. Since static forces act directly on the machine during locked-in exercises, the applicable EN standard requires high safety margins in this regard. For this reason, use of the blocker is approved for body weights up to 100 kg—for the EISENHORN DS, the approved weight limit is correspondingly higher.

Installation on concrete walls—here’s what you should keep in mind

Drilling into concrete produces fine drilling dust that settles inside the hole. Since concrete is a dense, solid building material, you must remove all of this dust—only then can the anchor grip securely and firmly.

Vacuuming alone is not enough here. Ideally, you should clean the drill hole with compressed air or a blow-out pump before installing the anchor. Alternatively, a simple straw can also be used to blow out the dust. Only a clean drill hole provides the anchor and screw with sufficient hold and prevents them from loosening.

The column of your EISENHORN multi-gym is secured to the wall with five screws distributed along its entire height. Use 8 mm wall anchors with a drilling depth of 80 mm—this ensures secure anchoring with minimal impact on the wall structure.
